What happens in the field
- Confirm the seller appointment and the exact asset
- Match nameplates and serial numbers to the buyer checklist
- Photograph accessible surfaces and record unanswered questions
Evidence you can work with
- Serial-number photographs
- Visible-condition notes
- Checklist with observed, not observed, and inaccessible items
Choose file naming, report format, photo permissions and delivery method before the visit. Reports distinguish observed facts, information supplied by others, and unresolved questions. See our reporting approach.
What to include in your request
Seller contact, asset listing, inspection questions, permitted access and purchase deadline.
Communication before, during and after the visit
Agree on an arrival update, any milestone check-ins, an exception contact and a completion summary. If access fails or the scope changes, the operator reports the constraint and asks for a decision rather than silently changing the job.
Scope and limitations
Visual documentation is not a mechanical certification, valuation, or guarantee of title. Functional tests require a separate approved procedure.
Coverage and pricing
Our teams operate nationwide, including Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas. Scheduling, travel, vehicle requirements and specialist support are confirmed per assignment. The related supplier & asset verification service has a starting estimate of $175 per visit; your written quote defines the actual total and deliverables.
Submitting through an agent
Use service ID vendor-verification and include “Equipment inspection before purchase” in the task scope. Set an authorized budget ceiling and measurable acceptance criteria. Read the request API guide and check payment availability before planning payment. A wallet or card alone does not authorize a purchase.
